It depends on how long the tattoo takes. How long a tattoo takes to complete can vary depending on the style, area of the body, skin type, and how well you can tolerate the pain. If you have a budget you are trying to work within we can discuss it and see what's possible!

My services are for ages 18 and older. If your 18th birthday is within six months you can schedule your appointment, but it must be on or after your 18th birthday.

Sometimes tattoos need touch ups and sometimes they don't. Because the tattoo ink sits below the surface of the skin a healed tattoo will always look slightly less vibrant or dark than a fresh tattoo. If you are not sure if you need a touch up please email me a clear, well lit picture and I can tell you. To schedule a touch up I will need a picture of the tattoo to determine how much time we will need. My books are always open for touch up appointments and as long as you have followed the aftercare instructions touch ups are free unless we have discussed otherwise.

DO's:

• Take care of your skin. Leading up to your tattoo appointment it's important to maintain healthy skin. If skin is injured, damaged, sunburned, infected, or otherwise inflamed you won't get a nicely healed result. Avoiding sun and moisturizing daily leading up to your appointment will give you the best results. 
• Shower and shave the area the day before the appointment. You can shave the area on the day of, but shaving the day before can help reduce skin irritation.
• Make sure to get good rest, eat, and drink plenty of water prior to your tattoo appointment.
• Wear something comfortable that allows access to the area to be tattooed.
• Bring water and a snack 
• Bring anything that will make you more comfortable for example headphones, a book, comfy socks, a sweatshirt etc.

DO NOT's: 

• Do not drink alcohol or abuse substances before your appointment. 
• Do not forget to eat
• Do not forget your ID

We all want our tattoos to heal nicely and sometimes we just want some reassurance or clarification. Asking me a healing question is never an imposition to me! Please email me with the subject line healing, healing question, or similar. I am always happy to answer any questions you have, you can also include a picture if you would like. I want your tattoos to heal well and for you to have peace of mind during the healing process. 

A deposit of $150 is required when the appointment is scheduled. This goes towards the price of the tattoo and reserves the appointment. It is non refundable, but as long as you let me know in advance if you can't make it to your appointment it never expires.
